Strange things in the desert

What is that Salsa is looking in that old scroll? I made a coupla researches and i found out that it could be the famous "Sazzie Kukoll" also known as "Small Lives". For what i could find out all the hard copies of this text are lost forever, but there is still a digital one and i've tracked it down....you can read part of it here:
